Matthew 7:7-8
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

I asked. I received. I sought. I found. I knocked. He opened.

God is so good. He is so faithful and His Word is true. He opened a door to healing in my life. But...life is hard. The crisis, more often than not, lies in our identity. Who are we? Why are we here? Why is life so hard?

I started this journey in July as a way to overcome a personal struggle with anxiety and depression. The benefits of the knowledge that I have gained through the process have exceeded my expectations. Others have joined with me on this journey to learn and to share. The journey to total health is far from over but as I have learned in almost all other areas of life it is not the final destination that truly matters but rather the journey, the path that one takes to get there.

In my opinion total health is the fullness of God's light shining in our lives. This means being of sound mind, body, and spirit. Total health requires self awareness of your physical health, emotional well being, and your spiritual connection to God. You have to want this with every ounce of your being. If you are not willing to give up everything then you are failing before you try.

Ask yourself: What am I willing to pay to be happy and healthy?

If your answer is "everything" I strongly encourage you to do three things:
Ask.
Seek.
Knock.

Oh yeah...and follow my blog for love and support on your journey.
